My Name is Emily.
Where do I begin on who I am, like most people I wear many different hats- a mother, wife, nurse practitioner, and a photographer.
I fell in love with photography at a young age. The first camera I received was a polaroid; I was in 6th grade. Took photography in high school... you know the old film days. Time got busy with college and my camera took the back burner. I grew up and had a family and picked up my camera again to capture their childhood. So thankful that I have captured them growing up. However, families of young ones -my favorite picture we had taken of the kids they were walking away from the camera. So those moments you think they are not looking at the camera can become your favorite too.
Newborns would definitely be one of my favorites, and one of the biggest reasons I opened a studio. My role of neonatal nurse practitioner led me to that. Then I began photographing wedding with one of my best friends and quickly grew to love those. Seniors have recently become a new adventure with having seniors myself. It is fun watching their personalities' shine that senior year.
"I capture a moment in time, a moment that becomes a cherished memory."
